Vzhledem k tomu, že obsah CD aktuálního čísla, je opravdu zajímavý, rozhodl jsem se, zpřístupnit vám pomocí Slideshow ve formátu PDF, obrazovou ukázku struktury obsahu CD. Slideshow obsahuje 30 slajdů.
Vystavil jsem ho, trochu netradičně, na Dropboxu a to na adrese:

Využití Lutify.me LUTs musí předcházet jejich instalace do systému.
Je třeba říci, že pokud dokážete otevřít adresář AppData, je to jenom záležitost kopírování Lutify souborů.

Instalation in Windows
Step 1 - Close Capture One if it is open.
Step 2 - Open your Lutify.me package and browse to the Capture One Styles > Windows folder
Step 3 - Copy both ‘JPG Styles’ and ‘Raw Styles’ folders from your package to the following location:
Windows Vista/7/8/10: X:\Users\username\AppData\Local\CaptureOne\Styles50
Please note: In most cases AppData and Application Data folders will be hidden. To copy files into this location you’ll first have to gain access to these folders.

Select appropriate style for the type of image you’re working on. Raw styles for Raw images. JPG styles for TIFF, JPG or PNG images. Selecting a style will apply a LUT on your image. You can further edit your image just as you would normally do. Full editing capabilities are retained.

What’s New in ON1 Photo RAW 2018.5
This is a free update to ON1 Photo RAW 2018. It’s packed full of new features as well as performance improvements and bug fixes.
New features:
- Camera Profiles — Now you can select the same looks you see on the back of your camera right in ON1 Photo RAW. Select from Natural, Portrait, Landscape, etc. depending on what your camera offers. These are not not presets, they don’t adjust any of the sliders and they are non-destructive.
- Color LUTs in Effects — Color LUTs or look-up tables are a popular way to add matte, vintage or cinematic color grading looks. Now you can add them inside of Effects. We supply a ton of LUTs to get you started. Plus you can import LUTs in the common .3DL and .CUBE formats that you can find online. They work just like any other filter in Effects. You can stack them, mask them and control the blending options.
- Improve Brushing Performance — Brushing with the Masking Brush more responsive, especially on Windows computers with large or high-dpi displays.
- Transform Improvements — The Transform pane in Develop is much improved. With the new options it is easy to correct perspective and rotation issues. The new grid makes it easier to visualize your results too.
- Faster Film Strip for Culling — Now using the Filmstrip in Develop and Effects is just as fast as in Browse. You can switch photos instantly! You can even perform your editing and and culling tasks, like ratings, labels, rotate and delete, while you are adjusting your raw processing.
- RAW+JPG — If you shoot RAW and JPG at the same time, you can now collapse and hide the JPG copy so your library isn’t cluttered. Any metadata or file changes you make are mirrored to the JPG seamlessly.
- Nested Albums — Albums can now be organized just like folders. You can nest albums or photos inside of other albums. Create complex organizations to suit your needs. If you are migrating from Lightroom, your nested albums are brought over with the Lightroom migration assistant.
- Increased Stability — We are always working to make ON1 Photo RAW faster and more stable. We have made big improvements under the hood to reduce the change of crashing when we encounter a corrupted photo file.
- Background Export — Time is money so we want you to be as productive as possible. When you export it now does it’s processing in the background so you can continue to work on another job.
- Nested Presets — We all love presets and collect a ton of them. Now you can organize your presets into a nested category structure to organize them as you like. You can move, rename, delete and nest presets and categories as you see fit.

"As photographers, we have a lot of tools available to us: compositional rules, lighting knowledge, the exposure triangle, and so on. Color is just another one of those tools. While it can be an intimidating element to a photographer, color can help solidify a voice. Knowing and understanding color theory — the way painters, designers, and artists of all trades do — a photographer can utilize color to their benefit.
- You may already be aware of the concept of additive and subtractive color (RGB vs. RYB), which is something we will touch upon in the next post in this series. For the sake of this article, we will be talking in generics about color theory and are focusing on Red Yellow Blue (RYB).
- Order of colors. This may cause some flashbacks to elementary school art class, but let’s start at the beginning: The orders of colors. There are three orders: Primary, Secondary, and Tertiary colors. When working in RYB color, the primary colors are red, yellow, and blue. That is to say, they are the three pure colors from which all other colors are derived. If we take two primary colors and add combine them equally, we get a secondary color. Finally, a tertiary color is one which is a combination of a primary and secondary color. Below you will see a graphic which depicts these three orders using an RYB color wheel.
- The Three Variables of Color
Now that we’ve been introduced to the orders of the colors, let’s look at their variables. Those who have post-processed images in Polarr, Adobe Lightroom, Apple Photos, Capture One, or any other RAW editor may be familiar with what is commonly known as the ‘HSL sliders.’ HSL meaning: Hue, Saturation, and Luminosity. Let’s start with hue.
- Color Schemes
When you decorate a house, you choose the color of the walls to go with the furniture, wall hangings, curtains, and so on. You’re essentially creating a color scheme. We do the same thing when we set up a shot. When being intentional with the color in your images, scheme absolutely comes into play. Three of the most popular color schemes are complimentary, analogous, and monochrome. To look at each individually, it will help to revisit our RYB color wheel.

Let’s See This in Practice
So now we know the orders and variables, as well as three popular schemes of color, but how do those tools aide us in our photography? When we combine the three aspects we discussed above, we can deliberately look for or create scenes that further our intended story.

To recap, we went over are three orders of colors (primary, secondary, and tertiary), three variables of color (hue, saturation, and luminance), and three popular color schemes (complementary, analogous, and monochrome). When you have a good grasp of these basic aspects of color theory, you’re off to a good start and can work to manipulate a scene to create the desired ambiance or ~vibe~ in your shots.

Hledal jsem na webu vhodné video, které by stručně prezentovalo základy práce s programem 3DlutCreator při úpravě obrázku a při tvorbě LUT souboru. A jelikož tvorba LUT není samoúčelnou, vybral jsem video, které současně ukazuje využití LUT ve fotoeditoru - v tomto případě ve Photoshopu. Vybrané video je sice v angličtině, ale má pro zájemce jednu důležitou výhodu, Výklad je dobře sledovatelný, to znamená, že je relativně pomalý a pro "neangličana" srozumitelný.

I’ve found a bunch of features in ON1 Photo RAW 2018 that work well with aerial photos.
First, the Import feature is great for downloading and organizing my photos and videos.
During the import process I can do things like:
- Automatically create backup copies to my external drive
- Add keywords that identify the location (e.g., Lava Butte) or job (e.g., 123 Main St.)
- Add copyright information to the metadata
- Automatically organize my photos into folders by capture dates
- Another thing that is useful is lens correction. The wide angle lens on my drone creates noticeable distortion on the edges of photos.
For drone models where a built-in profile isn’t available it is easy to make manual adjustments using the Lens Correction pane in the ON1 Develop module.
After importing the images, I stitch them together using the Create Panorama feature in ON1 Photo RAW 2018. The results are awesome.
Another feature is Automatic Exposure Bracketing (AEB). Using this feature I get a base exposure, and several additional photos of the same scene exposed a little more or a little less. I can pick the one I like best, or even better combine them into an High-dynamic-range (HDR) photo.
Combining the exposures using the HDR feature in ON1 Photo RAW 2018 reveals more details in the highlights and shadows. You would lose these details when using a single exposure."

Umělá inteligence ve fotografii – k čemu slouží a jaká je budoucnost?

"Nejdříve trocha fotografické teorie: zásadní rozdíl mezi mobilem a klasickým foťákem, je velkost jejich čipů. A od velikosti čipu se pak odvíjí hloubka ostrosti, fyzická velikost pixelů a tím pádem menší šum atd. Prostě a jednoduše, větší čipy v kombinaci s kvalitní optikou podávají výsledky lepší než mobily....
Mobily ale chtějí foťáky dohnat, ale cestou vylepšování optiky a zvětšování čipu, to prostě nepůjde. Větší a lepší čip si totiž logicky žádá větší optiku a na telefonu už prostě není místo. Právě umělá inteligence (UI) by mohla být a pravděpodobně bude tím správným řešením, kdy může optiku a elektroniku dohnat software. Dnes jsou to spíše drobné krůčky, kdy umělá inteligence pomáhá, ale do budoucna bude její přínos takový, že se rozdíl mezi telefonem a zrcadlovkou z hlediska kvality výstupu stáhne na úplné minimum.
